The Israeli army has once again bombed a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, with eyewitnesses reporting on Tuesday that two floors of a building were destroyed.

Videos showed large clouds of smoke in the municipality of Ghobeiry in Beirut’s southern suburbs after the attack.

The Amal movement, which is allied with Hezbollah, is particularly active in the area, which is mainly populated by Shiites.

Israel’s military announced, without giving further details, that it had carried out a “targeted attack” in Beirut.
