Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will star in the Wimbledon men’s final for the second year in a row. The Spaniard and the Serbian have proven to be the best during the two weeks of competition on the grass courts of the All England Club.
Djokovic is already speaking as a finalist and refers to the difficulty of facing the challenge of defeating Alcaraz, a rival who has surpassed him on two occasions, one of them in the fight for the English crown, in 2023.
“Alcaraz is the clear example of charisma, of values on and off the track. He is one of the best athletes in history at 21 years old. I expect a tough battle, he is a very complete player and I am sure he will have to get the best out of me.“he reflects.
Novak, however, joked about his longevity: “Carlos is going to win many ‘Grand Slam’ titles when I retire in 15 years“.
