Jannik Sinner is leaving everything on the grass at the Open 500 in Halle to stay alive. For the second day, the Italian needed three sets to end the resistance of a rival. Tuesday surpassed in the tiebreaker round against Tallon Griekspoor and today he did the same with Fabian Marozsan, with a score of 6-4, 6-7(4) and 6-3.

Sinner, who debuted his status as ATP number 1 in a circuit tournament this week, establishes himself as the best tennis player on the planet. The distance with Novak Djokovic, currently second, is 1,130 points.

Jannik will then face the defense of the Wimbledon semifinals, where Djokovic stopped him last season.
