El espa�ol Alexander Moro is one step away from the Wimbledon final draw by defeating to the Italian Matteo Gigante, 7-5 and 6-2this Wednesday in the second round of the qualifying phase.
Moro, number 189 in the world, will face Damir Dzumhur this Thursday in the last round of the qualifying phase of the third Grand Slam of the season.
If he wins, he will be guaranteed a check for 60,000 pounds (70,000 euros) for playing in the first round of Wimbledon, a tournament that begins next July 1.
The one who could not advance to the third round of the Wimbledon qualifying phase was Bernab� Zapata, who fell to the Italian Mattia Bellucci, 7-6 (3) and 6-3.
