Man Drives Stolen Ford Bronco Over Police CarSimranpreet / X

A 25-year-old man in Canada is facing a list of charges, after he allegedly not just stole a Ford Bronco, but then crushed a police cruiser with it. The man was suspected of being in possession of stolen property and weapons, according to the Peel Regional Police.

The incident took place at a Tim Horton’s drive-thru in Mississauga, Ontario on Tuesday, September 3, according to authorities; police were alerted to a suspicious vehicle in the area, and upon locating it, were able to determine that it was stolen. Video footage from the building security camera shared on social media shows what happened next.

In an attempt to keep the suspect from leaving the scene, officers blocked the Bronco in the drive-thru lane with a pair of Dodge police vehicles; a Charger was placed right in front of the Bronco’s bumper, and a Durango was parked a bit farther back. But the presence of the vehicles did not deter the suspect, who police have identified as Ramanpreet Singh from Brampton, Ontario.

Despite being surrounded by law enforcement, the driver can be seen on video apparently attempting to escape by using his stolen Ford Bronco to drive over the police vehicles. The footage shows the Bronco pushing the Charger back, then driving over its hood and windshield. Unfortunately for the suspect, however, the Bronco could not clear the Durango, and was forced back into the drive-thru lane.

The suspect was taken into custody after the incident with only minor injuries, according to authorities; he faces charges including flight from a police officer, dangerous operation, obstruct police officer and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime.Authorities say no police or bystanders were injured. The two Peel police department Dodges… well, they weren’t quit so lucky.
