After four years of dating, The Valley stars Jasmine Goode and Melissa Marie are officially engaged.
During their European vacation, there was not just one proposal but two! It was so nice they did it twice.
“It was really crazy because we both have been thinking about getting engaged,” Jasmine said. “[We’ve been] looking at rings for a while now. We were just trying to find the right time and place to do it. [But] before I could even propose to her, she surprised me … I was blown away.”

While the former Bachelor contestant had plans to propose in Italy, her girlfriend Melissa beat her to the punch with a proposal of her own.
“We wanted it to be intimate and memorable,” Melissa told Us Weekly. “Once [we booked our tickets for] Mallorca, I was like, ‘Oh, I think [Jasmine] might try to use this opportunity to propose. But I wanted to give her a special proposal because she deserves it. It wasn’t just about what I wanted.”
Melissa specifically had Lake Como in mind as the location. “I was like, ‘OK, this cannot be more perfect because she absolutely loves being here,” she continued. “We went to this place called Villa Monastero. It’s one of the most beautiful villas and gardens around Lake Como … I even found this spot that is notorious for best views and best sunsets.” Jasmine isn’t the only member of Bachelor Nation to get engaged at Lake Como.
Jasmine had no clue about the surprise her now-fiancé had planned for her. “I thought we were just going to take a photo or a TikTok,” she said. “But then she got down on one knee. Then, the next day, I just kept thinking, ‘I hope she doesn’t think I don’t have a ring for her.’ But my plan still had to go down.”

Pretending she “didn’t have a ring” for Melissa, Jasmine waited a few days before popping the question. And now that they’re engaged, the couple looks forward to their shared future.
“We both honestly want to start a family really soon,” Jasmine explained. “That’s our main goal. We both want to be moms and for us, we do want to make sure we’re married first. That’s something that means a lot to our family … It felt right.”
“We just have been so busy with the show and with life,” Melissa added. “[Now we] finally had time to slow down and find our rings, so it just all made sense.”
After several of their friends in The Valley cast helped with the planning and ring shopping, there’s a chance that the wedding could be featured on the show. Reality TV loves a wedding!
And Jasmine’s totally on board with that idea. “It’s something that I would do,” she confirmed. “You sign up to do the show, so you open your life to be on display.”
