One woman was killed and 13 other people injured, including two children, in a Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian port city of Odessa during the night, the regional prosecutor’s office announced on Saturday.

It said two high-rise buildings, several private residential buildings and the storage rooms of a company had been damaged during the attack.

Investigations have been launched into suspected war crimes, the prosecutor’s office said.

Since the launch of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Russia has been systematically bombing cities and other civilian targets, in particular targeting the country’s energy facilities.
