The Qatari Foreign Ministry has announced a press conference amid negotiations to end the war in Gaza.
The Foreign Ministry posted a link to a live broadcast on the X messaging service. The ministry did not specify a time.
Arab media had previously reported that Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani would announce the results of the talks “in the evening” after Hamas sources and Israel said they had reached an agreement.
For months, the US, Egypt and Qatar have been endeavouring to persuade Israel to agree to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Hamas to release Israeli hostages.
