The Israeli army has launched a new series of strikes on “terror targets” belonging to the Shiite Hezbollah militia in the Beqaa area in eastern Lebanon, the military said on Saturday morning.

The army did not give further details in its initial statement posted on Telegram.

Meanwhile, sirens sounded again in northern Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, after having previously reported renewed attacks from Lebanon.

The Israeli army also carried out attacks on Beirut and southern Lebanon overnight.
