Israel has launched renewed attacks on targets in the Gaza Strip and in Lebanon, the military said early on Sunday, adding that it had “eliminated dozens of terrorists.”
In the northern Gaza city of Jabalia, Israeli troops had “dismantled many terror infrastructure sites, as well as a weapons storage facility in the area,” said a statement posted on Telegram. Further targets were located in nearby Beit Lahia.
Israeli troops were also continuing to carry out “precise, intelligence-based operational activity” in the Rafah area, in the southern Gaza strip.
In Lebanon, the Israeli air force had targeted and eliminated dozens of fighters from the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon in recent days, the statement said. Here too, weapon storage facilities and launch sites were the targets.
