BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The political season is back. Candidate qualifying began today for the 2025 municipal elections. Lynn Haven voters will decide commissioner seats 3 and 4.
Mexico Beach will select a mayor and council members 2 and 3. Panama City is electing a mayor and commissioners for wards 1 and 2.
Parker is electing a mayor and council members 1 and 2. Bay County Supervisor of Elections Nina Ward says even if you’ve previously voted by mail, you’ll need to submit a new vote-by-mail request for this election.

“At the end of 2024, all vote-by-mail requests expired. So now is a wonderful time that if you want to continue to vote by mail please go on our website bayvotesfl.gov and go ahead and get back on our list for vote by mail,” Ward said.
Candidates qualifying will continue all this week until noon this Friday, February 14th. Early voting runs from April 14th to 18th. Election day is on April 22nd.
If you want to vote in the municipal elections, you have up until March 24th to register.
