The second edition of The Battle of Stars starts on June 13, a sporting competition that transcends titles thanks to its charitable purpose: fighting ALS and multiple sclerosis. It will be held in Mallorca and will have as its main protagonists Rafa Nadal, Pep Guardiola, Marcos Alonso, Pepe Reina, Feliciano L�pez and Antonio Orozco, among other celebrities.
In the magnificent settings of Pula Golf Resort and the Son Servera Golf Club This golf tournament will be held, which will bring together a large team of world soccer figures for two days full of meaning and social purposes. In addition, the competition will have the presence of Juan Carlos Unzu, former soccer player and former coach who battles ALS and who has become a reference for this cause.
Singer David Otero, winner of the last edition, will also participate in the tournament; the bullfighter Pep�n Liria, the actress Veronica Mengod, Javier Clemente, Bernd Schuster, Albert Riera, Mateu Alemany, Mauro Tassotti, Gerard L�pez, Gabriel Batistuta, Albert Riera, Roberto Donadoni, Esteban Vigo, Miguel �ngel Nadal, Uli Stielike, Manu Trigueros and the model Liz Emiliano.
The Battle of Stars is celebrated for another year with the support of Golf East Mallorca and thanks to Mallorca, Fundaci�n Mallorca Turismo, Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, Inmobiliaria Sa Coma and Banco Santander.
Pula Golf Resort is a unique setting that hosted the Mallorca Classic of the DP World Tour (then European Tour) for seven years. José María Olaz�bal, two-time Masters champion, redesigned the course between 2004 and 2006, turning the stage into one of the world’s benchmarks. The resort has been nominated in four categories, including Best Emerging Golf Destination in the World, Best Golf Course in Europe and Best Golf Course in Spain, at the World Golf Awards.
