BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Binghamton University Jewish community is grieving and reflecting on the October 7 terrorist attacks on Israel one year later with a day of remembrance.

On October 7, BU’s Zionist Organization will hold an exhibition commemorating the attacks as well as the aftermath faced by Israel since. During the exhibition, students will be able to observe and bear witness to the destruction of the events. The exhibition will be held throughout the day in the Mandela Room and Old Union Hall.

Following the exhibition, a vigil ceremony will be held in the Peace Quad at 6 p.m., honoring the victims and people impacted by the day.

Emotional support teams will be in attendance at both events and available all day long at various locations on campus.
