Wimbledon has granted invitations to the final draw -‘wild cards’- to four champions of Grand Slamof which two were also n�mero 1 in the world but currently did not have enough ranking to get direct access: Naomi Osaka (winner of four Grand Slams and currently 113 WTA), Caroline Wozniacki (winner of the 2018 Australian Open and 114 STA), Angelique Kerber (2018 Wimbledon and 2016 Australian Open champion and now 224 WTA) and Emma Raducano (2021 US Open champion, 165 WTA and also British), according to EFE.

Two of the guests, Osaka and Wozniacki, have returned to the activity in recent months after having become mothers and Osaka was the only tennis player who in the past Roland Garros put Iga in trouble Swiateknumber 1 in the world and ultimately champion.
