TODAY:
An arctic front brings snow squalls this morning, but quiet conditions return under a brief period of high pressure this afternoon. Once the snow tapers off, we’ll be mostly cloudy with a few breaks of sun possible. Temperatures behind the cold front will be in the 20s this afternoon.
TONIGHT:
Tonight, clouds return ahead of a warm front off of a clipper system that will bring widespread snow as early as dinnertime. Snow showers will continue overnight and into early Wednesday morning. Temperatures this evening go from the 20s back into the 30s overnight.
THE WEEK AHEAD:
Gusty winds will return overnight as the cold front moves in, which may allow for isolated snow squalls tomorrow morning and afternoon. Snow showers taper off tomorrow night, and high-pressure returns for a mild and quiet Thursday. Another system moves in from the 4 corners region of the US and brings warmer air and a mix of rain and snow.
