PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Clouds will be moving in overnight and should keep our low temperature from dipping any farther than 28 degrees.
Those clouds will also help hold in the warmth for Sunday with a high near 50.
Another round of cold arctic air will sweep through Sunday evening across the eastern half of the country. Our winds will pick up Sunday night as well as we head for a low in the mid-20s.
Monday morning will have the coldest air the kids have faced at the school bus stop since February.
Cold arctic high pressure will dominate our weather for the rest of the week with highs primarily in the 40ss.
The low Tuesday night could actually reach into the teens, even without a Wind Chill.
It should be dry through the week until possibly Saturday when some models show a chance for some kind of precipitation.
