The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday said it has struck Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck “Hezbollah military structures and a launcher” overnight in the areas of Kfarkela, Taybeh, Hanine and Yarine near Lebanon’s border with Israel, the IDF said in a Telegram post.

The IAF also struck in Sunday a “Hezbollah military structure” in Khirbet Selm, also in southern Lebanon, the IDF added.

Since the war began between Israel and Palestinian militant organization Hamas in Gaza last October, there have been almost daily clashes between the Israeli army and the pro-Iranian Hezbollah in Lebanon in the border area between the two countries.

There have been casualties on both sides, most of them members of Hezbollah, which says it is acting in solidarity with Hamas.
