HIt was 62 years ago – Arnold Palmer in 1962 – that at this point in the year a golfer had not achieved six wins on the PGA Tour. Not even Tiger Woods had achieved it. Scottie Scheffler, in his heavenly year, has recovered his usual level at the Travelers Championship to win the tournament. The problems at Pinehurst, where the Masters winner had a hard time reading the greens, disappeared from the first day. This story almost changed her.
