EThe Memorial Tournament, also known as The Memorial Tournament, is an annual golf event that is part of the PGA Tour. It takes place in the Muirfield Village Golf Club en Dublin, OhioUSA.
Was Founded by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus in 1976 and is renowned for attracting many of the world’s best golfers. The tournament is recognized for its prestige, both for the quality of the golf course and for its connection with Jack Nicklaus, one of the greatest golfers of all time.
As a curiosity, the name of the field, Muirfield Villageis inspired by the Muirfield golf course in Scotland, where Nicklaus won his first British Open in 1966.
