The first position of the tournament is shared by Martin Kaymerthe young man Caleb Murratt of the Legion XIII team, and Adrian Meronkwhich made 65. Jon Rahm (69) finished with a great birdie putt, but his turn went a little awry in the final stretch.
The ‘Lion of Barrika’ could only half get rid of the bad feelings with which he left Valhalla in the new LIV event, which starts this Friday at the Houston Golf Club. The good work of ‘Rahmbo’ was blurred by a final stretch (17, 18 and 1) in which he was more erratic. It was marked by a double bogey on 18 after sending it into the water. However, Jon recovered with a final birdie and it should be noted that his start – he started at 4 – was very different.
